Puhi Kaiti Health Centre
Puhi Kaiti was established in 2001 and has approximately 6,800 enrolled patients. The clinic consists of 5 GP’s, 4 Nurses, 1 Chronic Care Nurse, 3 Receptionists and a Practice Administrator.
The Health Centre has 10 Consultation rooms, 1 Treatment room and offices for administration staff. We are situated in a small shopping centre consisting of a Pharmacy, Kiwi Bank, Hairdresser, Bakery, Dairy, Supermarket, Video Store, TAB, Work & Income Agency and Community Police Station.
The Health Centre is open 7 days per week Monday to Friday 8am to 5pm, Saturday and Sunday 10am – 3pm. GP’s share after hours cover and rosterd weeknights and weekends. Gisborne Hospital Emergency Dept staff cover after hours medical calls from 10pm to 8am daily.
